The organization Florida Leatherbacks successfully ran project at experiment.com to study leatherbacks. The operation was suspended when a petition was filed by the Loggerhead Marine Life Center, according to a blog post at Florida Leatherbacks. I don't know enough to take a side in the controversy: I'm just here to share videos about science & beauty of the sea.
